Following the will of people involved in the development of the Stevenson's trail from Monastier-sur-Gazeille and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, the Club Stevenson was created. Based in Monastier-sur-Gazeille and chaired by Janet Darne, the association works to make the writer Robert Louis Stevenson known and for this, offers cultural and festive activities. Il also promotes the trail and encourage the discovery of heritage along the GR®70. A brochure presenting the heritage of each village will be published for summer 2017.

As a mountain guide, I’ve been involved in animating the Trail as part of the Association Sur le Chemin de R.L. Stevenson ever since it was first set up. I cater for those who wish to get closer to the author and his extraordinary life by offering an oral presentation tailored to your needs, illustrated by the exhibition “Travels with Robert Louis Stevenson”.
